2021 O’Hara Family Christmas

It is back and in-person! The O’Hara Family Christmas!

Last year, COVID 19 restrictions prevented us from having a live event, but this over 25-year tradition was still made available via live-streamed. This year, while there are still restrictions in place, we are thrilled to be able to provide an in-person, abridged version of the O’Hara Family Christmas.

Events will happen in a different order this year. The evening will begin at 5:00 PM outside for a half hour of Christmas caroling and the lighting of our tree. We will then process in to the auditorium for our traditional Christmas Liturgy, and the night will conclude with a visit from Santa Claus who will be available for pictures near the East Entrance.

Because of COVID restrictions, we must limit attendance to 800 people in the auditorium so we have a registration this year. Also, masks are mandatory while inside the building. Registration will close when we hit 800.

INTRODUCING THE O’HARA ANGEL FUND!

Following the words of Jesus, “It is better to give than to receive” Acts 20:35, the students at O’Hara are creating the O’Hara Angel Fund to help their fellow students when they face a family crisis that could impact their ability to stay in school.

Too many times in the lives of our students, they face a devastating loss that impacts their living and financial situation. The school does what it can to help these students through these times, but their classmates also want to help. The O’Hara Angel Fund is students helping students … and this fund is being launched at the O’Hara Family Christmas.

This year, instead of being asked to donate items at the services, the students are inviting you to make a donation to the O’Hara Angel Fund. This is your opportunity to help O’Hara students who are facing a crisis, and to help their classmates have an active part in lending aid. You will have the option to make a donation when you register or in-person at the event.
